SRW CAVITY PANELS

The Cavity Panels are processed from Rock Wool Fibers bonded with thermosetting synthetic resin to form semi rigid/rigid panels of medium density. Cavity Panels are manufactured according to ASTM C-612 & EN 12162 requirements.

Application
  • It is designed for a wide range of application such as residential building, schools, hospitals, government and commercial offices.
  • It is used for exterior or interior thermal & acoustical insulation.
Storage It must be stored in an area where it is protected from water exposure and physical damage
Maintenance Once Cavity Panels are properly installed they do not need any maintenance
Installation
  • Cavity panel is usually sandwiched between two walls of bricks or Gypsum wall boards.
  • Can also be fixed on the exterior walls with fasteners, and then the last layer of wall (Marble or Aluminum cladding) is fixed.
  • Cavity panels must at all times be closely butted, leaving no spaces for thermal or acoustical leaks.
Advantages
  • Excellent thermal and acoustic insulation.
  • Stable physical and chemical properties.
  • No health hazard, asbestos free.
  • Environment friendly.
  • Water repellent.
  • Does not encourage the growth of fungi, molds or bacteria.
  • Easy to cut, handle and install.
  • Saves energy
Facing It comes without facing or faced from one or both sides with Aluminium foil, Bitumen paper, black fiber glass veil and polyethylene bags.
