LD Blanket is produced from basalt rocks processed from the molten state into fibrous form and slightly bonded with thermosetting binder to get flexible rolls; It can be faced either with reflective facing (aluminum foil) or non-reflective facing (Kraft paper) it meets the ASTM C-665 and ASTM C-553 requirements.
Application | It is designed to insulate service at a moderate ambient temperature it is used in light steel structure, prefabricated houses, drywall partition, cavity wall etc. |
Storage | It must be stored in an area where it is protected against water and physical damage. |
Maintenance | Once LD blankets are suitably installed they do not need any maintenance. |
Installation | LD Blanket is light and easy to handle and fix. It can be cut and shaped by using a sharp, broad bladed knife. |
